ABOUT OUR COMMERCIAL ROOFS
commercial roof types
low slope (flat) roof
Flat roofs are one of the most common types of roof for commercial buildings. A flat roof is any roof with a pitch that isn’t suitable for shingle roofing application.
pitched roofs
High and low pitched roofs like those on some retail buildings, churches, hotels and office buildings are suitable for shingle, metal, or tile roof applications.
Commercial Roofing applications
shingle roofing
Premium asphalt shingle roofing is suitable for pitched roofs. Raptor Restoration uses premium Owens Corning architectural shingles, which are not only beautiful, but come with the industry’s best warranties.
metal roofing
Commercial metal roofs come in many styles & materials including copper, zinc, corrugated steel, stainless steel, stone-coated steel and aluminum. Metal roofs are desirable for their durability, low maintenance and long-term cost effectiveness. With an added polyurethane coating, quality metal roofs can last 50 – 80 years!
Built-Up Roofing (BUR)
Built-up roofing (BUR) is a standard tar-and-gravel roof. It’s built with multiple layers (piles) of gravel and tar. BUR is a flexible roof type as layers can be added in the future to increase durability and help control costs. This low-slope roof system is one of the most cost-effective and tough roofing types available today.
Silicone Roof Coating
Silicone roof coatings are the preferred choice to address concerns with UV protection and moisture resistance. This type of roofing provides excellent flexibility, resists ponding water, and erodes much slower than other coatings.
Thermoset Single-Ply Membrane Roofing (EPDM)
Thermoset roof systems (EPDM) offer long-lasting durability and versatility. Simple installation and ease of maintenance/repair makes them more cost effective. Constructed from a single-ply rubber material, EPDM boasts a strong resistance to ultraviolet light, great flexibility in colder climates, and reflective properties that help lower cooling costs.
TPO Roof Membrane
Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) is a single-ply roofing membrane made of synthetics and reinforcing scrim which is used on low slope roofs. TPO is an excellent choice for commercial roofing in warmer clients because it reflects sunlight, allowing commercial air conditioners to work more efficiently, which reduces energy costs.
Thermoplastic PVC & PVC Single-Ply Membrane
PVC membrane is the most popular and economic choice in commercial roofing materials, because it is designed to last up to 30 years. It is made from polyvinyl chloride which contains a lower percentage of oil and petroleum than other membrane roofing materials, which makes it a more eco-friendly choice as well.
HAIL LATELY?
IS YOUR ROOF DAMAGED?
Indiana is famous for Spring hailstorms. Hardly a year passes without one. Even a minor hailstorm can cause substantial roofing, siding or window damage to your commercial or residential property. This damage often can’t be seen from the ground, so it’s wise to hire a professional to take a look. We will inspect your residential or commercial property FREE and even help you with an insurance claim, if needed.
